Emerald Cut Diamonds

An emerald cut is a step cut unlike most other diamond shapes which are brilliant cuts. This man made diamond cut has 57 small rectangular facets that resemble stairs or steps. These shapes are more popular and prominent in rectangular but available in square also. In the same carat weight an emerald cut lab engineered diamond appears bigger than other shaped diamonds. The corners of this shaped diamonds are usually cropped to prevent fractures and add more stability.
